well, i been down so gawd damn long...

howdy y'all, yeah thats a line from a doors song, its pretty awesome... anyway, i've been so busy with school studying for tests and other stuff. as i am sure that everyone who reads my blog knows i got a pretty bad burn a couple weeks ago. anyway, it was a second degree burn i'm sure and i wish i had a picture of when it was all swollen and blistered- gross!

But this weekend is vintage days at fresno state! YAY! for anyone who has the opportunity to come to fresno state this weekened, come by the glass shop on the south side of the conely art building and see what glassblowing is like for yourself! and don't forget to buy something- we actually ran out of glass so our teacher had make a special trip to richmond, ca to get some more glass. nevertheless there will be people working this weekend and will be happy to show you how it goes down, or at least let you watch them make something!

  1. Darn, we forgot all about Vintage Days and the opportunity to come see the glass shop. Do you ever have open house? I saw your burn on the healing side of it and it looked awful. Be careful!!! Glad your back in the blog world.

As your Godmother though, I must say I don't like the title of that song!

  2. Thanks aunt trudy, i appreciate your concern. anyway i wasnt at vintage days hardly at all. i went on friday for a littel bit with mom and dad, but i was probably only there for like 15 minutes. Open house is pretty much any time you want, all you have to do is come by when there is someone at the shop which is pretty much always. tuesdays and thursdays would be the best because then you could talk to the teacher. If you want to see some other work that really good there are occasionally advanced glass students at the art hops on thursdays down town
